Have you seen signs around your local library saying "Geek is Coming?" Are you completely mystified? We hope so! Now that you know what "geek" means, let me shed a little light on the situation. "Geek the Library" is a public awareness campaign sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and run by the OCLC (Online Computer Library Center). And on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012, your local library is throwing a little "Geek" party to tell you about all of the fun coming your way! Stay tuned for specific times, but that will be a day devoted to introducing the "Geek" campaign with a lot of fun activities and some freebies!
